Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced Cover Supervisor/HLTA to work within a primary school in the Cambridge area, providing essential classroom cover across different year groups.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, can confidently lead a classroom and is passionate about ensuring children continue to receive high-quality learning experiences.

The Role:

Provide classroom cover across different primary year groups during teachers'' PPA and release time.

Deliver pre-planned lessons and learning activities, ensuring continuity of learning.

Confidently manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

Adapt your approach to suit different ages, abilities and learning needs.

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders.

Ensure pupils remain engaged, supported and motivated throughout the school day.

Working Arrangements:

Temporary supply position, starting as soon as possible.

Mondays are essential, plus one or two additional days per week.

Flexibility around the additional working days for the right candidate.

Expected to continue until the end of the autumn term.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, HLTA or qualified primary teacher.

Confident leading whole-class learning across primary year groups.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Reliable, adaptable and professional.

Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Passionate about providing a consistent and supportive learning experience.
