Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd are seeking an experienced Materials Controller for our well-established clients based in Pershore, a leading manufacturer supporting the UK''s defence sector and other critical industries Rail, Automotive and Agriculture. The successful candidate will maintain accurate inventory control and material availability by managing stock data within Sicon and Sage and providing support for production requirements, working alongside Purchasing and Production Control to minimise errors, shortages and any disruption to production schedules. Main Responsibilities: Monitor stock accuracy levels and report risks, trends and any recurring issues. Maintain accurate inventory records within Sicon and Sage ensure all stock movements are correctly controlled and recorded. Investigate stock discrepancies, identify root causes and implement preventative and corrective measures. Proactively identify potential material shortages or risks and work closely with Production to ensure materials are available to meet production schedules and kitting requirements. Liaise with Purchasing to ensure purchase order accuracy delivery performance and ensuring that lead times are met. Act as a key point of contact between Stores, Production and Purchasing Monitor overdue, incomplete or late deliveries and escalate risks where necessary.
