The Egis Consulting and Operations (CandO) Business Line (BL) is focussed on consulting activities, investing, and managing infrastructure projects, together with delivering equipment on a turnkey basis.
On the Operations side, Egis CandO BL is one of the world leaders in the financial structuring of PPP projects, as well as in the operation of infrastructures and services.
In the road sector, Egis operates and maintains 44 roads and highways, including civil structures such as bridges, viaducts, and tunnels, with a span of c.4,400 km. Through 28 operating companies, Egis employs more than 9,300 people in more than 20 countries.
In the airport sector, the CandO BL operates, maintains, and develops a network of 17 airports around the world, handling more than 30 million passengers and 330,000 tons of freight per year.
In the urban and mobility sector, the CandO BL also offers a wide range of services for its customers such as electronic toll collection, interoperability, and on-street parking management together with strategic consulting, project management and specialised consulting services.

As this is a fixed-term role you must be available within 1 month.
You will be based in London and will be required to be in our office in Waterloo 3 days a week.
Job Description
For related OandM projects and contracts, this role provides key support to the Head of Finance Business Partnering- CandO, from day to day operations to financial transformation.
Egis in the UK is currently in an exciting period of transition, as such an instrumental element of this role is to provide valuable support to the Head of FBP in the transformation of the CandO BL finance function, from system implementation to the adoption of a new Shared Services based model
The right candidate will be a self-starter, and willing to be agile and adaptable as the business needs change
The role will involve excellent exposure to the wider Egis Group and cross functional teams and requires the personal credibility to develop successful professional relationships with internal peers and external stakeholders
Partner to Operational Heads of OandM units and Project Leads
Provide support, insight and challenge around cost control
Quarterly project review meetings with Project Managers / Directors to assess quarterly revenue recognition
Quarterly project financial review in terms of fee income and also performance, especially with regards to profit margin
Project accounting and review of invoicing
Resource assignment to OandM projects in Oracle
Management of project costing within Oracle
Management of project billing process
Cashflow forecasting
Profit and loss forecasting
Budgeting
Project revenue, cost and margin reporting forecasting
Month end accounting including but not limited to fixed assets, prepayments and accruals
Quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
Intercompany reconciliations
Monthly and quarterly reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Quarterly profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow
Reporting intercompany transactions
Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering - CandO
Working closely with the Finance Lead, Project Accountants and Commercial Managers.
Partnering with operational staff within the OandM business, assistance with ad-hoc requests, analysis, finance project reviews, understanding current and future activities.
Working with the Egis UK Finance shared services team on billings
Liaising with external auditors
Key support in the implementation of a new finance reporting solution
Act as a key player in the continued implementation of the new Operating Model
Qualifications
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Significant finance work experience, ideally with familiarity on large projects
Advanced Excel and Office skills
Stakeholder engagement skills working across a complex matrix organisation.
Experience of business transformation
Able to work to tight deadlines with accuracy
Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
Experience working in a matrix organisation with different countries, currencies and tax jurisdictions
