A forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary Construction and Real Estate consultancy based in London are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. With several long-term, ongoing projects, the successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining a company that offers both stability and excellent APC support. About the Role
Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work closely with project teams and clients, supporting projects through pre- and post-contract stages. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans across a variety of projects
- Managing tender processes, procurement, and contract administration
- Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
- Monitoring project costs and valuations, ensuring financial control throughout delivery
- Supporting clients in achieving value for money while maintaining quality standards
- Preparing interim and final accounts
- Working closely with senior colleagues and supporting junior team members where appropriate
About the Requirements
- Degree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Working towards MRICS or eager to complete APC (full support provided)
- Previous experience within a consultancy environment is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cost management skills
- Experience within the Commercial sector (fit out experience advantageous)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build client relationships
- Proactive attitude, with responsibility for delivering high-quality outputs
About the Salary
Salary is negotiable depending on experience, up to -55,000. Additional benefits include:
