The Role

You''ll help keep the fleet safe, compliant and ready for service, delivering high standards of maintenance and repair while minimising vehicle downtime.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and vehicle inspections.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on HGV''s and articulated vehicles.
• Completing repairs and preventative maintenance to a high standard.
• Ensuring vehicles meet DVSA requirements and workshop safety standards.
• Accurately completing job cards, inspection reports and maintenance records.
• Working closely with fellow technicians to keep the workshop running efficiently.

Ideally, you''ll have:

• An NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience maintaining and repairing HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• A practical approach, a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
• A valid Class 2 / Category C HGV driving licence - Advantageous

A Basic DBS check will form part of the recruitment process.

Overtime: Paid at time and a half
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am3:30pm
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: Bracknell
