Practical skill, initiative and fresh ideas are encouraged and valued here.What You ll Be Doing Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and getting lines back up quicklyCarrying out scheduled PPM to keep equipment in top conditionWorking across both mechanical and electrical disciplinesLooking after a wide range of plant, including conveyors, motors, pumps and gearboxes, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsRepairing, modifying and upgrading machineryHelping with the installation and commissioning of new equipmentTracking down the root cause of repeat failures and eliminating themPartnering with the production team to keep downtime to a minimumDriving improvements in reliability and performanceTaking on fabrication and welding tasks as needed What You ll Need Time-served multi-skilled maintenance engineer backgroundMechanical and electrical qualifications at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (strong time-served experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications)A ..... full job details .....
