We re hiring for a Community Response Officer to join a compassionate, community-focused organisation supporting vulnerable adults across the High Peak area. You ll play a vital role in providing reassurance, emergency response, and practical assistance to help people live independently and safely in their own homes. What s on offer? £16 p/h Rotating shift pattern 8 hour shifts Days and night shifts 25 days holiday + bank holidays Standard pension scheme Comprehensive training and ongoing support What will you be doing as a Community Response Officer? Responding to emergency calls from clients and providing practical or emotional support Assisting individuals who have fallen or require help with mobility using specialist equipment Installing, testing, and maintaining Carelink alarm units and telecare devices Recording accurate information and maintaining clear client records Liaising with emergency services, relatives, and social care teams when required Conducting regular checks on vehicles, equipment, and CCTV systems Providing companionship and reassurance during emergency situations What do you need? A full UK driving licence Previous experience working with elderly/vulnerable individuals A flexible approach to varied shift patterns Interested?
