This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior / Principal Town Planner to join a specialist consultancy, play a key role in delivering planning projects and contribute to the continued growth of the business. Our client is keen to speak with experienced planning professionals who bring private sector consultancy experience and a strong understanding of the Scottish planning system. The Opportunity As a Senior / Principal Town Planner, you will manage a varied portfolio of projects, provide commercially focused planning advice and build strong relationships with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders across Scotland. Your responsibilities will include: Managing planning projects from initial feasibility through to application and determination. Preparing planning appraisals, strategies, applications and supporting documentation. Providing clear, commercially focused planning advice to clients. Liaising with local authorities, statutory consultees and external consultants. Managing planning applications and negotiations to secure positive outcomes. Developing client relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth. Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate.
