Buyer Manufacturing Buyer Procurement BuyerMerthyr Tydfil Up to 40,000 DOE 40 Hours per Week Monday-Friday Site BasedIntroductionAcorn by Synergie is working with a market-leading manufacturer seeking a Buyer to join their expanding team in Merthyr Tydfil.The role will be fully site based, working for a rewarding and reliable employer.What We OfferSalary up to 40,000, depending on experience.Monday to Friday.40 hours per week.Key DutiesSupport the Senior Buyer, performing routine day-to-day activities associated with products and services, including administering and expediting purchase orders.Manage MRP requirements to satisfy production schedules and implement appropriate recovery plans, including shortage reporting and resolution.Receive Bills of Materials and carry out system checks on materials and services to be supplied to projects and shipping requirements.Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best price and lead times, resolving any supply chain issues.Liaise with customers and suppliers to respond to routine queries regarding contract and supply chain issues.Provide input to project meetings to answer questions concerning contract and supply chain matters.Monitor and measure process performance, producing regular and accurate management information and reports as required.RequirementsManufacturing procurement experience, including reading technical drawings, with an engineering background preferred.Ability to build supplier relationships and engage with ..... full job details .....
