A dynamic secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join their vibrant team. This exciting opportunity is available from September 2025, offered through Supply Desk.

About the Role:

• Create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment where pupils feel confident and secure.
• Promote high standards of behaviour by setting clear expectations and fostering positive, respectful relationships.
• Deliver well-structured lessons that maintain pace, engagement, and challenge for all learners.
• Evaluate pupil progress against learning objectives and use this insight to inform and enhance teaching strategies.
• Consistently mark and monitor students'' work, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for improvement.
• Adhere to the schoolandrsquo;s Assessment Policy, ensuring all assessment practices are followed effectively.

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, ECT, or an equivalent overseas qualification recognised in the UK.
• Have up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment and ability to raise attainment across all key stages taught.
• Have prior experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting.
• Must have experience teaching Music at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4; experience with Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential.
