The company operates as a principal contractor and undertakes a variety of commercial refurbishment projects for a wide range of clients, including MoD, Schools, Hospitals, Local Authorities, Hotels and Retail, with projects ranging from 100K to 3M. The company is established and have been operating for over 15 years and is looking to add to its commercial team. The business is open to consider applications from Estimators or Senior Estimators who have refurbishment or fit-out experience. Responsibilities of the Senior Estimator Price projects from bill of quantities, specifications and drawings. Carry out detailed take offs from drawings. Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors to provide the most competitive cost on a project. Attend internal meetings with the Director to discuss tenders. Identify labour, material, and time requirements. Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. Prepare special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends. Maintain cost database by entering and backing up data. Requirements
