Construction Lecturer Start Date: ASAPEnd Date: Mid February 2026Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per weekLocation: SolihullSalary: £31,223 to £42,579 per annum (up to £46,894 for Level 5 qualified candidates) Role Overview: Are you passionate about teaching and shaping the next generation of skilled professionals in carpentry and construction? We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer in Construction Carpentry and Multiskills to deliver engaging lessons and provide high-quality training. This role is offered on a temp-to-perm basis at our Woodlands Campus. Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding teaching and training in carpentry and multiskills across a range of qualifications. Act as a course tutor and coordinate programmes as required. Support curriculum development, including embedding sustainability and digital learning materials. Foster external contacts to promote industry-based work experience opportunities. Contribute to student induction, recruitment, and the marketing of programmes. Ensure compliance with internal verification, quality standards, and the college''s policies. Support the college s goal to become a Net Zero organisation by 2030 through sustainable curriculum practices. What We re Looking For: Essential Qualifications: Level 2 qualification in Carpentry. Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards). Level 3 Assessor Award (or equivalent). Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths. Experience and Skills: Industry
