We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Bolton. This is a long-term opportunity starting in January 2027, running until at least July 2027, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will join a supportive Mathematics department and take responsibility for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to secondary-aged students
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum requirements
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute positively to the wider department and school community

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
• Is passionate about helping students succeed in Mathematics
