Vehicle Technician Location: Tilbury, Essex Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 Pay Rate: £16 p/h (£33,280) PAYE, £18.56 p/h Umbrella Contract: Long-term, Ongoing work Igloo is on the lookout for Vehicle Technicians to join our client s team in Tilbury. Our client is a global leader in the automotive industry, with operations across the globe. The Role: Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work. Repairing or replacing components as required such as, clutch changes and repairs, cambelt changes, brake system replacement and repairs and gearbox repairs and replacements. Road testing vehicles to test repair work. Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories, including alarms and stereos. Warranty recall work. Undertaking Services and maintenance checks, such as, oil changes and filter changes. The Person: Must hold a recognised NVQ Level 3 qualification, such as light vehicle maintenance and repair. Must be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within a Vehicle Technician or PDI Technician role.
