Civil Engineering TechnicianLocation: GlasgowType: Full-Time PermanentThe OpportunityAn established civil engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Engineering Technician to join its growing team in Glasgow.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable technician with experience in roads, highways and drainage design to work across a varied portfolio of development and infrastructure projects.You will work closely with civil engineers and other technicians, producing accurate, coordinated drawings and supporting the delivery of projects from initial feasibility and planning through to detailed design.The RoleProducing and developing CAD drawings for roads, highways and drainage projectsPreparing detailed engineering drawings for residential, commercial and infrastructure developmentsSupporting the design of road layouts, site access arrangements and associated infrastructureProducing drainage layouts, long sections and associated technical drawingsWorking with engineers to translate design information into clear, coordinated drawing packagesUpdating drawings to reflect design changes and technical reviewsEnsuring drawings comply with relevant standards and internal quality proceduresCoordinating drawing information with engineers, clients and wider project teamsManaging drawing files and maintaining accurate document controlWhat We''re Looking ForExperience working as a Civil Engineering Technician within a consultancy environmentStrong working ..... full job details .....
