The service provides short-stay, transitional accommodation for women who are rebuilding their lives following release from custody.This is a rewarding role where you will support women to develop independence, stability, and confidence during a critical transition period.This post is restricted to female applicants under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the nature of the service and the needs of the women we support.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide practical and emotional support to women in a short-stay supported living environmentBuild positive, professional relationships based on trust, respect, and boundariesSupport residents with resettlement goals, including housing, benefits, health, and daily living skillsEncourage engagement with probation, substance misuse services, mental health services, and other agenciesPromote independence, safety, and wellbeing within the serviceMaintain accurate records, risk assessments, and support plansWork collaboratively with colleagues and external professionalsUphold safeguarding, equality, and trauma-informed practices at all timesAbout YouWe are looking for someone who:Has experience working with vulnerable women, prison leavers, or in supported housing (desirable but not essential)Is non-judge
