Head of Instrumentation
Head of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum A vacancy has arisen within an established engineering function at a UK-based industrial processing facility. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation team within a regulated environment. An immediate start is available for the successful candidate. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for managing the Electrical and Instrumentation department, including a team of engineers and external contractors where required. Lead on project work, including design, specification, and installation of electrical and instrumentation systems for capital and maintenance projects, ensuring expenditure is controlled within approved budgets. Oversee maintenance operations, including the development and implementation of Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance systems. Promote and maintain a strong Safety, Health and Environmental culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and internal procedures. Liaise with internal stakeholders across the organisation, as well as external suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Instrumentation and Control; a degree is desirable. At least 10 years post-qualification experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within an instrumentation and control environment
