We''re looking for a talented Senior Accountant - MandA to join our Global Record to Report team and play a key role in integrating newly acquired businesses into Sage''s finance environment. In this role, you''ll lead month-end close and reporting activities for acquired entities during their first six months post-acquisition, ensuring accurate, timely and controlled financial reporting. You''ll partner closely with local finance teams, senior stakeholders and MandA integration leaders to support successful finance integrations across EMEA and North America. At Sage we have a hybrid working pattern - candidates must be able to work in the Newcastle office 3 days a week and 2 from home. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract. Key Responsibilities What you''ll be responsible for: • Leading month-end close and reporting for newly acquired entities, ensuring compliance with Sage Group reporting requirements • Partnering with local Finance Controllers and regional finance teams to transition acquired businesses into Sage''s Global R2R operating model • Preparing and reviewing management reports, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis, identifying and resolving issues proactively • Supporting acquisition and integration activities, including acquisition accounting, opening balance sheet reviews, cutover planning and ..... full job details .....
