Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services industry is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.Working as part of the Finance department in the business, the successful Accounts Assistant will support the day-to-day running and operations of the Accounts department ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately, records are maintained and financial administrative duties are all completed to a high standard.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years'' experience in a Finance / Accounts Assistant role where you have contributed to the smooth-running of an internal Finance function.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the daily, monthly and weekly reconciliations processSupport processing paymentsMaintain accurate financial records, ensuring company procedures are met at all timesOversee bank account activityPrepare and maintain financial spreadsheets using ExcelAct as the first point of contact for any finance-related questions or queries from other staff members or clientsAssist with month-end processesKey Experience:Minimum of 2 years'' experience in an Accounts / Finance Assistant roleConfident with Excel and other financial systems, with the ability to pick up new technology with easeExcellent communicator, confident liaising with colleagues and clients of all levelsStrong numerical and analytical skillsHappy to work both independently and as part of the wider team, using initiative at all timesThis is an ..... full job details .....
