Are you passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential£ A nurturing and inclusive school in Chesham is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Learning Mentor to join their team this January.

This school is committed to promoting emotional wellbeing, academic progress, and personal development through tailored support and early intervention. Youandrsquo;ll be part of a collaborative pastoral team focused on making a real difference in studentsandrsquo; lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students across Key Stages 1 to 4 with academic, emotional, and behavioural challenges
• Deliver 1:1 and small group sessions to build confidence, motivation, and resilience
• Help students develop effective learning strategies and positive attitudes towards education
• Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external agencies to provide holistic support
• Build trusting relationships with students and their families to encourage engagement and progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people in an educational, mentoring, or pastoral role
• Be passionate about inclusion, mental health, and student wellbeing
• Demonstrate strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
• Be confident in supporting students with diverse needs and backgrounds
• Be patient, encouraging, and committed to helping every student succeed
• Be open to ongoing training and professional development
