The successful candidate will have a strong background in manual machining, turning, and milling with proficiency in using Colchester Lathes. Experience with CNC operations is beneficial. Key Responsibilities: Perform manual machining tasks including lathe operation, turning, and milling to produce high-quality components.Operate and maintain Colchester Lathes to ensure precision and efficiency.Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specified tolerances and standards.Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and meet project deadlines.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work space.
