The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children with a range of special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have access to high-quality learning opportunities and achieve their full potential. Key ResponsibilitiesFor SEN Teacher Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEN. Work closely with the SENCO to implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to support holistic development. Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Contribute to whole-school initiatives and professional development. For SEN Teaching Assistant Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN. Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive lessons. Implement intervention programmes and support learning plans. Help manage behaviour and encourage positive social interactions. Support with personal care needs where required. Monitor pupil progress and feedback to teachers and SENCO. Candidate RequirementsSEN Teacher Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary setting.
