Safety Manager

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.Must have experience in the utilities and construction industry.This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and implementing effective safety measures. The Safety Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety within the organisation. Will need to build strong relationships throughout the business, and with external clients and contractors. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive safety programmes and policies in compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, including root cause analysis, to identify trends and recommend corrective actions. Provide training and guidance to employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and first aid protocols. Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety awareness throughout the organisation. Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements to prevent future occurrences.
