I am supporting a London Borough to recruit an experienced Interim Management Accountant to support the transformation with a focus on Children''s Services. This is a key role within the finance team, providing financial support, analysis and effective business partnering during a a period of change in the teamKey responsibilities:Lead on budget monitoring, forecasting, and reporting for Children''s ServicesProvide clear and accurate financial analysis to support decision-makingDeliver robust cost management and savings trackingSupport the preparation of budgets and medium-term financial planningCommunicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholdersRole requirements:Qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) or demonstrably qualified by experienceStrong background in management accounting within a local authority settingProven experience supporting Children''s Services Excellent technical accounting knowledge and analytical capabilityTrack record of effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlConfident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
