This role is crucial in supporting the Gas, Electrical, and Mechanical (GEM) Team across all elements of electrical works. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Electrician with experience in domestic electrical repairs and maintenance.Day-to-day of the role:Provide operational support with a strong focus on customer-centric repairs and maintenance contracts within the area of responsibility, including responsive repairs, cyclical servicing, quality assurance, and planned works.Assist and deputise for the Mechanical and Electrical Manager as required.Ensure effective service delivery by Contract Partner(s), focusing on Mechanical and Electrical matters, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and health and safety.Monitor and report on performance regarding Mechanical and Electrical compliance and service delivery.Handle complaints and enquiries in line with policy.Support budget monitoring and report preparation.Develop new solutions and continuously improve processes.Provide professional advice on policy, strategies, and objectives.Supervise the Mechanical and Electrical team, ensuring adherence to program specifications and service standards.Manage public lift repairs, replacements, and servicing within council housing stock.Foster relation
