The role will ensure high standards of customer service, health and safety, compliance and operational efficiency. Operations Manager Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operational activities of the branch. Plan and coordinate customer deliveries and transport schedules. Manage drivers, vehicles and external transport providers where required. Ensure vehicles, drivers and delivery operations meet company and legal requirements. Oversee yard, loading and unloading operations and maintain high standards of housekeeping. Support stock control, goods-in and goods-out processes. Deal with delivery issues, customer queries and operational problems. Manage branch administration, including delivery paperwork, timesheets, vehicle records and operational reports. Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed across the branch. Support the Branch Manager with staff management, training and performance. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and improve customer service. Work closely with the sales and branch teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
