Electrical Maintenance Engineer Blackburn Area £48,200 Monday to Friday Days Pension employer contribution 8.5% Our leading manufacturer with sites situated across the UK is looking for an Multi Skilled Electrical engineer to join there team. You will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on production equipment Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise disruption to production Repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical elements of the plant Fault-find and resolve recurring machinery issues Support the development and improvement of planned maintenance systems Ensure machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues Ideal Candidate: Apprentice-trained Maintenance Engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3 HNC/ ONC/ HND / or equivalent Strong electrical maintenance background Experience working within a FMCG environment Extrusion, blow moulding and injection moulding advantageous but not essential PLCs and drives preferred but not essential Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards Multi Skilled Engineer / Multiskilled mechanical Engineer / Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / ..... full job details .....
