Junior-Project Manager - IND1

Location: Kempston, Bedford
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to -38,000

TXM Recruit are working with a specialist commercial building services provider delivering electrical, mechanical, EV, fit-out and refurbishment projects across commercial and industrial environments.

They are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Project Manager to join their team, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with a construction or trade background to develop into a Project Management role.

Job Purpose
This is a hands-on development role, working alongside experienced Project Managers to gain practical experience across construction, engineering and building services projects. The successful candidate will receive structured training and gradually take on greater responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Shadow and support senior Project Managers across live projects.
• Attend site visits, meetings and project briefings.
• Assist with project planning, delivery and documentation.
• Support procurement and subcontractor coordination.
• Monitor project progress, quality and health and safety.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Take responsibility for smaller work packages as experience develops.
• Complete relevant training, including SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid.

Skills and Experience

• Construction or trade background.
• Construction-related NVQ or CSCS card
• Previous site supervision experience
• Interest in developing a career in Project Management
