Vehicle Sprayer
Location: Barton-under-Needwood (Training required in Doncaster for 4 weeks)

Shifts: Days and Afternoons, with Potential Night Shifts

We are currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Sprayers to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing operation based in Barton-under-Needwood. Both contract and permanent opportunities are available for suitable candidates.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with vehicle spraying experience, particularly those with a background in the rail industry.

As a Vehicle Sprayer, your duties will include:

• Preparing vehicles and components for spraying, including cleaning, masking and surface preparation.

• Applying paint and coatings to a high standard using professional spraying equipment.

• Ensuring all work meets required quality and finish standards.

• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

• Working to production schedules and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Successful candidates will complete an initial four-week training period in Doncaster.

• A mileage allowance will be provided to help cover travel costs.

• A four-day working week will apply during the training period.

Day Shift

• PAYE: -18.79 per hour

• Umbrella: -24.47 per hour

Afternoon Shift

• PAYE: -22.55 per hour

• Umbrella: -29.44 per hour

Night shifts: Potentially available, with rates to be confirmed.

Overtime available

• Previous vehicle spraying experience is essential.

• Experience in rail, rolling stock or railway vehicle spraying would be advantageous.

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to work safely and follow technical instructions.
