Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing company based in Clacton-on-Sea. This is a permanent opportunity offering a salary of £26,000 - £28,500 per annum, working Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be joining an established manufacturing business producing sustainable, recyclable products used in projects across the UK.

This Production Operative role will involve working within the factory, operating machinery, cutting materials, using hand and power tools and preparing finished products for dispatch. Previous experience in production, manufacturing or factory work is preferred.

• £26,000 - £28,500 per annum, depending on experience.

Production Operative Duties:

• Measuring and cutting materials to the required sizes.
• Operating machinery, including various production saws.
• Using hand tools and power tools.
• Preparing materials and products for production.
• Loading, stacking, wrapping and palletising finished goods.
• Taking photos of completed work using a company tablet.
• Checking machinery and reporting any issues.
• Keeping the production area clean and tidy.
• Following health and safety procedures and wearing the correct PPE.
• Working as part of a team to ensure production runs smoothly.

What We''re Looking For:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing and production environment.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Comfortable working with machinery (training can be provided where required).
• Good practical skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, hardworking and a good team player.
• A positive attitude towards health and safety.
• Physically fit, as the role involves standing for long periods and lifting heavy panels.
