An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a listed professional services business in London. The role will focus on the outsourced side of the business operating within consultancy, advisory, market intelligence, and RPO sectors.The position will initially involve working with US operations and later across EMEA, offering an opportunity to join a FTSE-listed company and make a significant impact.This Management Accountant role combines hands-on accounts preparation, leading month-end processes, and business partnering with operational teams. The role also encourages leading process optimisation and systems improvements.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals and prepayments, during the month-end close to ensure accurate transaction recording.Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations monthly to maintain data integrity and support financial controls.Assist in preparing comprehensive monthly reports, insightful commentary, and dashboards for senior management.Maintain documentation and support internal controls to ensure audit compliance.Track revenue, direct costs, and margins across multiple client accounts to optimise profitability.Assist with variance analysis, billing validation, and client profitability reporting for accurate revenue recognition.Identify potential revenue assurance issues proactively and escalate as needed to minimise risk.Collaborate with operational teams to gather data for financial analysis and explain variances.Provide relevant data to support decision-making across the business.Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and re-forecasting cycles with reliable financial insights.Candidate Requirements:

ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or CA qualified.Experience in an industry environment with hands-on accounts preparation and month-end leadership.Strong understanding of core accounting principles.Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.Excellent interpersonal skills for effective business partnering.Proactive in identifying process gaps or inefficiencies.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and agency, welcoming applications from all candidates.
