RAN Engineering Specialist12 months London, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester - hybrid £400 - £500 inside IR25 - umbrella only What you''ll be doing - your accountabilitiesLead complex fault investigations on 2G/4G RAN site/cell.Lead complex fault investigations on BSC issues.Creation of configuration scripts/commissioning files ready for loading onto the live network either using Huawei configuration platform or using WIM Unison system.Creation and management of BSC disaster recovery process.Regular testing of the BSC disaster recovery process.Implementation of BSC disaster recovery process in case of failure of existing traffic carrying BSC.Occasional overnight working for script implementation (such as BSC reparenting).Occasional lab based testing.Skills required Excellent understanding of RAN 2G/4GExcellent understanding of Huawei system design and configuration.Excellent understanding of how to write and implement Huawei configuration scripts/commissioning files on 2G/4G Site/BSC on Huawei MAE and WIM Unison platforms.ExperienceExperience of working for a mobile network operator, vendor or managed service supplier.Good communicator.Good working under pressure on occasions that require it.Deep knowledge of Huawei 2G/4G RAN andamp; BSC.
