Maintenance Engineer My client, a successful manufacturing business is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer. This will suit a canidate with a strong Mechanical background capable of resolving planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to drive efficiency and minimise downtime. This role has no shifts. Key Duties: Carry out routine and unplanned maintenance work and respond to equipment faults; Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and machinery and arrange procurement Of fixtures, fittings and components as required; Conduct quality inspections on jobs; Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment; Monitor and control maintenance costs; Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs; Work closely with Senior Management to improve health and safety policies and procedures; Work as part of a team to ensure the continuous flow of production and operations; Criteria: Time-served Mechanical Engineer or Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in a mechanical maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong practical experience with mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics Basic working knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, CNC, or PC-controlled equipment desirable (mechanical focus remains key) Able to work independently, manage workload effectively, and prioritise maintenance activities Proactive, reliable team player with flexibility to support business needs when require
