Database Administrator - Permanent Partnered with a Global Sports and Entertainment organisation who are pioneers at delivering innovative fan experiences through TV/Media and Live events. They are scaling their Data and IT Systems team looking for an experienced Database Administrator (Python, PowerShell, SQL ) responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, security, performance, and availability of the Database systems. Scope of role:Provide the installation, configuration. Upgrades and maintenance of database platforms by utilising Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostreSQL, MongoDB.Monitor database performance alongside implementing and managing database security and user access controls.Create and maintain documents for IT systems and assist building on documentation process across the department.Manage projects through lifecycle, ensuring deadlines are met whilst keeping stakeholders engaged throughout.Compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, ISO27001, SOX and internal security policies.Skills:Strong experience with SQL, PostgreSQL and relational databasesProven experience Scripting and automation including PowerShell, Python and T-SQL.Extensive knowledge of database backup, recovery, replication and high availability solutions.Understanding of database security principles and access management.Familiar with Cloud database platforms such as Microsoft Azure SQLMicrosoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory knowledgeIf this opportunity ..... full job details .....
