Are you a looking for a new Buyer position in the Droitwich area?

We have a new opening for an experience Buyer to work within a successful Manufacturing company. The role will be to source and purchase raw materials from the UK and Worldwide markets.

Mian responsibilities will also include:

• Being main contact in the Purchasing team to buy anything for small components to castings and all raw materials -
• Working off technical drawings
• Source new suppliers
• Show full cost savings for materials
• Work to lead times and update the ERP system
• Manager MRP System
• Liaise with shopfloor manager and technical team when needed
• Cover for other members of the purchasing team during holiday periods -

The right candidate

• Must have previous purchasing experience working within a busy manufacturing environment
• Be able to work off technical drawings
• Have the capability to buy anything from a fastening to a casting
• Have strong communication skills
• Be computer literate with an eye for detail
• CIPS qualification advantageous but not essential -

Working hours for the role are - Monday to Thursday 8.15am to 4.45pm, Friday 8.15am to 3.3pm

Salary is negotiable depending upon experience
