Machine Operator

Summary:

-The main function of the production operator is to support the 1L production line at the Weavergate plant in Northwich UK on 2-shift rota 6am-2pm & 1pm-9pm.

Job Responsibilities:

Place finished goods bottles 750ml / 1L in a cardboard carton and send them through a taping machine, lift cartons on a pallet, fill the empty bottle unscrambler machine with bottles ready for filling and occasional capping of products by hand as well as support the set-up of the line ready for production and change-overs on a daily basis.

Skills:

Safety and Quality mindset, Verbal and written communication skills, Attention to detail, Problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Basic knowledge of production lines.

Basic ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.

Basic knowledge production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximising the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. 0-2 years related experience required.
