Solution Architect - Legacy-to-Cloud Migration SC Eligible - BPSS to start Location: Telford 2 days attendance per month6 month initial period with option to extendRate: 650 PD - Inside IR35 As a Solutions/Migration Architect, you will turn service discovery outputs and established migration patterns into an executable technical migration approach. You will work at service and POD level, understanding the full application and infrastructure stack, integrations, upstream and downstream dependencies, connectivity and operational constraints. The strongest candidate will combine architecture experience with an engineering or infrastructure background. They will be comfortable getting into the technical detail, steering engineers and solving the practical problems involved in moving complex legacy services. Success will come from disciplined migration delivery, technical breadth, integration awareness and a pragmatic focus on safe transition. You will steer engineering teams through planning, migration, testing and cutover. This requires an architect who is comfortable working in technical detail, solving difficult migration problems and making pragmatic decisions that protect service continuity. The role is not focused on enterprise strategy, future-state innovation or introducing cloud-native redesign.
