I''m recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for an established main contractor''s new-build housing team in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. The team delivers affordable housing and extra-care developments for housing associations and local authorities across the North.

The role is permanent, and I''m open to speaking with candidates currently based in London or the South East who are genuinely ready to relocate.

You''ll take commercial responsibility across new-build housing projects, including:

• Procuring and managing subcontract packages, assessing applications and issuing payment notices.

• Preparing monthly valuations and agreeing final accounts.

• Producing internal valuations, CVRs and subcontract liability reports.

• Measuring work from drawings and on site, valuing variations and managing contractual change.

• Working with project teams to manage delays, control costs and minimise commercial risk.

The essential requirement is Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor on new-build housing projects.

You''ll also need:

• At least three years'' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor.

• Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.

• A full UK driving licence.

An HND or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, alongside a CSCS card, would be advantageous.

• £50,000 to £65,000 salary.
