Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join a precision engineering business based in South Lanarkshire, responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components.

• Program, set, and operate CNC lathes within a precision engineering environment
• Manufacture components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and tooling changes
• Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and quality
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Experience working in a precision engineering environment

• Experience with Fanuc controls

• Dayshift role - 37 hours per week plus overtime available
• Rate of up to -20.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
• Based in South Lanarkshire
