We are seeking a dedicated and motivated professional to lead a Children in Care team, providing strong leadership, management oversight, and strategic direction to social workers and family support staff.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support a team of Social Workers and a Family Support Worker holding caseloads of children in care.Provide effective leadership and management decision-making across complex cases.Drive permanency planning to ensure positive, long-term outcomes for children and young people.Deliver regular supervision, including both individual and group supervision sessions.Chair team meetings, strategy discussions, and other multi-agency forums.Lead on safeguarding concerns, risk management, and ensuring appropriate interventions are in place.Monitor and progress care plans, ensuring children receive high-quality support and services.Promote best practice, performance management, and continuous professional development within the team.Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.RequirementsQualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.Previous experience managing Children''s Social Care ..... full job details .....
