CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist required to join a well established Engineering company that is based in the Derby area. The successful candidate will be expected to work on a range of machines and keep to the high quality standards of the company.CNC Machinist Job OverviewMachining of high integrity parts in a variety of materials (nickel alloys, stainless steels, titanium, aluminium, carbon steels).Programming, setting and operation of machines as required, including prove out of new programs.Work to an exacting quality standard to ensure parts are machined right first time and on time.Maintain a high level of housekeeping to ensure the on-going cleanliness of the facilities.Ensure that route card instructions are followed and that all documentation is completed to company procedures.Be able to read and understand complex engineering drawingsUse and interpret workshop measuring equipmentPerform in cycle deburring of components where appropriateEnsure all working hours are accurately logged (direct and indirect hours)CNC Machinist Job RequirementsApprenticeship trained, time served, NVQ level 3, or higherExcellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively as part of a teamMinimum 3 years experience in a precision machining roleExperience of multiple control systems is preferred (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mazatrol)Experience of relevant industries, Nuclear, Power Generation, AerospaceExperience of working with a wide range of materialsCNC Machinist Salary and BenefitsFull time - Permane
