This is a senior leadership position overseeing the organisation''s full Control Systems capability, leading three interlinked functions-Systems, Software, and Electrical/Harness Engineering. The Role You will own and develop the capability to design, build and deliver safe, compliant and reliable control, software and electrical systems across complex specialist vehicles and equipment.Key responsibilities include: Leading the Control Systems strategy and contributing to wider engineering and product planning.Coaching and developing Team Leads across Systems, Software and Electrical disciplines.Conducting a comprehensive review of current tools, processes and engineering maturity, identifying gaps and driving improvements.Ensuring compliance with industry standards including functional safety and cybersecurity frameworks.Overseeing system architecture, requirements definition, validation, HIL/SIL processes, and final signoff.Acting as a visible, approachable, and supportive leader able to influence experienced engineering teams.
