Mechanical Inspectors with strong PC-DMIS programming skills opportunity in this fast growing successful sub contract precision engineering company. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess strong good general manual inspection skills and must have expertise in PC-DMIS programming. Key Responsibilities:Conduct detailed mechanical inspections in accordance with established quality standards and specifications.Utilise PC-DMIS programming for efficient and accurate inspection processes.Identify and document any discrepancies or defects, collaborating with the production team for resolution.Prepare and maintain inspection logs and records for analysis and reporting purposes.Ensure all inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience in a mechanical inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Proficient in PC-DMIS programming for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.Common sense attitude and an understanding of machining.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.Good communication skills for effective collaboration with the team.This is a permanent job with a starting salary dependant on experience.
