The position operates on a rotating AM / PM shift pattern, ideal for an experienced machinist with strong 5-axis capability and a quality-driven mindset. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and run 5-axis CNC machining centres Carry out all process and product setups through the machining route Perform manual and CMM inspection activities Conduct self-inspections and complete quality audits to achieve self-certification Work from engineering drawings, inspection plans, and shop documentation Accurately record production and inspection data Provide input into the design of fixtures, tooling, and CNC programs Train and support operators on machine operation and inspection criteria Actively contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement Perform basic preventative maintenance in line with company procedures Work in accordance with lean manufacturing principles, including 5S Candidate Requirements Recognised machining apprenticeship or equivalent experience Proven experience as a CNC Setter / Machinist in a manufacturing envi
