This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can take ownership of health and safety procedures, ensure legal compliance and help promote a positive safety culture across warehouse, distribution and office operations.Working closely with management and employees, you will identify potential risks, implement improvements and provide practical advice to maintain a safe working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, review and implement health and safety policies and procedures.Carry out risk assessments, workplace inspections and compliance audits.Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.Maintain health and safety records, documentation and statutory registers.Oversee COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.Monitor safety standards relating to manual handling, warehouse equipment, forklift trucks and storage racking.Support fire safety procedures, emergency planning and evacuation arrangements.Deliver health and safety inductions, toolbox talks and employee training.Advise managers and employees on health and safety legislation and best practice.Monitor compliance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Support relevant environmental and health and safety management systems, ..... full job details .....
