Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Project Support Officer to join Walsall Council on a temporary contract. This role will support the administration and day-to-day coordination of the National Supervised Toothbrushing Scheme across Walsall. This role is working 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day administration and delivery of the supervised toothbrushing programme.

• Maintain accurate stock records for programme resources, including toothbrushes, toothpaste and other supplies.

• Organise deliveries and collections to participating nurseries and primary schools.

• Manage storage arrangements and travel between the storage facility and council offices as required.

• Maintain accurate records, trackers and reports, providing updates to local and national programme leads.

• Act as the main point of contact for participating schools and nurseries, responding to queries and providing guidance.

• Liaise with approved training providers to coordinate training for participating settings.

• Use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to maintain data, prepare reports and manage correspondence.

Requirements

• Previous experience in project support, project coordination or administration.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate logistics and maintain accurate records.

• Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with schools and other stakeholders.

• Ability and willingness to travel between council offices and storage facilities as required.
