Transport Manager Location: Slough Salary: Circa £50,000 (depending on experience) Monday Friday 10-hour day shifts We re currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant running of a busy HGV fleet operation. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience managing European haulage operations, with air freight experience being a strong advantage. About the Ideal Person To have at least 10 years experience of working within a Transport department, involving HGV s. They MUST have experience and knowledge of operating a HGV fleet within Europe. Ideally also have experience within the Air Freight sector. Be able to work alongside 2 other Transport Managers, as part of the overall team, so being a strong team player will be extremely important. The successful candidate MUST have achieved a CPC, and held it for at least 8 years, having also been active on an Operators Licence. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day fleet operations Ensure full compliance with DVSA, Operator Licence, and transport regulations Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and fleet documentation Monitor tachograph data, driver compliance, and WTD reports Handle accident investigations and vehicle defect management Support driver recruitment, onboarding, and training Maintain health and safety standards across the operation Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs What We re Looking For: Minimum 10 years transpor
