Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for the flexibility of a fully remote role whilst working on some of the UKs most technically challenging projects?
A well-established and growing building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to support the continued growth of their electrical design team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in project delivery, mentoring engineers, and helping shape the future direction of the business.
The Role
You will take ownership of electrical design projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, architects, contractors, and the wider MEP team. The position offers genuine autonomy, flexibility, and the chance to influence both technical delivery and business growth.
Current Project Portfolio Includes:
- Large-scale data centre and mission critical developments
- High-specification commercial office refurbishments and fit-outs
- Major residential and mixed-use schemes
- Healthcare and life sciences facilities
- Industrial and specialist engineering projects across the UK
What Youll Be Doing
- Leading electrical design and project delivery across multiple schemes
- Managing client relationships and attending key project meetings
- Supporting and mentoring junior and intermediate engineers
- Coordinating with mechanical, structural and architectural teams
- Reviewing and signing off technical designs and calculations
- Contributing to business development and project bidding activities

Requirements
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Strong building services consultancy background
- Experience leading projects and managing client relationships
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- UK based with the right to work in the UK
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership is advantageous
