As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. You will provide 1-2-1 and whole class support, assist with personalised learning activities, and help students develop their confidence, independence, and social skills. Every day will be different, offering a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on young people's educational journeys.
The Candidate
This role is ideal for a psychology graduate who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and is considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, or a related field. You should be patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with pupils from a variety of backgrounds. A proactive attitude and strong communication skills are essential.
