Finance Manager Heywood, Greater Manchester £34, Hours per week Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a varied, hands-on role with flexibility across the week? Baldwin Technical Services is looking for a Finance Manager to join the business on a maternity cover contract, starting as soon as possible and running until approximately February 2028. What you''ll be doing You''ll take responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations of the business, covering everything from management accounts and payroll to cash flow, project costing and financial administration. Preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and PandL analysis. Managing project finances, including job costing, WIP, staged billing and individual project profitability through Simpro. Overseeing banking activities - payments, VAT returns, sales ledger, credit control and cash collection. Managing payroll, pensions, CIS reporting and associated personnel records. Ensuring relevant statutory requirements are met. Supporting contractual and commercial administration, including reviewing customer orders, quotations and project costs. Working with the Group Finance Manager, overseeing the Office Manager, and supporting wider financial administration operations and purchasing documentation, to ensure the financial information is accurate.
